Note to Partner Agencies

On a daily basis we have partner agencies contacting us to arrange one to one meetings with students that have been referred to them. We really appreciate the help and support for our students.

Although we always do our best to facilitate these meetings, please note that we have a limit on the rooms available. Therefore we request that you contact us in advance to ensure that an appropriate room to use. In addition, we ask that, where possible, these meetings take place between 1.30pm and 2.30pm when core lessons are over. Some students are working with multiple agencies and we need to minimise the impact on their learning time and academic progress where possible.

At Manchester Vocational and Learning Academy, we are committed to transforming the lives of pupils who have struggled in mainstream education. Through our personalised approach and unwavering support, we empower each student to overcome their challenges, develop essential life skills, and unlock their true potential. Our school aspires to be a beacon of hope, guiding our pupils back to academic success and equipping them with the tools to thrive in their communities and beyond.

Our teachers are experienced in dealing with students who struggle to manage their behaviour. We offer specialised support for students with special educational needs or who speak English as an additional language.  All staff possesses an enhanced DBS disclosure and the qualifications and experience required to fulfil their role.
